1. Who is responsible

This page covers the Mindful Money Life website and the work behind it. If you are using the Mindful Money Reset with Lumi, that has its own privacy page with more detail, because you share more there than anywhere else.

The short version: the website collects very little, nothing about you is sold, and nothing you share in one place shows up in another.

2. Visiting the website

The site runs on Hostinger, in the EU. Like any web host, their servers keep short-lived technical logs of requests: an IP address, the page requested, the time, and which browser was used. That is how a website is kept running and secure, and it is deleted on Hostinger's own schedule.

There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking on this site. Nothing follows you between pages to build a picture of you, and nothing follows you to other websites. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so your visit is not shared with them either.

3. Writing to us

If you email support@mindfulmoney.life, that message and your address sit in the business mailbox, hosted by Hostinger, for as long as is useful to answer you and to keep a record of what was agreed. Nothing more is done with it.

4. Emails you ask for

If you sign up for emails, your address, and your name if you give it, are held by Hostinger's email marketing tool so the emails can be sent. You only ever get those emails because you asked for them, every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Your address is never sold, rented, or passed to anyone else to market to you.

5. The Reset, Lumi and Countd

Lumi is a separate, paid product with its own data handling, described in full on its own privacy page. In short: your conversation is stored so your reset is still there when you come back, it is sent to Anthropic's Claude to generate each reply, and you can delete all of it yourself from inside the app.

Countd

Countd is a free iOS app that counts the money coming into your life. It is the simplest thing here, and deliberately so.

There is no account and no sign-in. The app never asks who you are, and we have no way of knowing.
What you enter stays on your phone. The amounts you add, and the growing total they build, are stored on the device itself. They are never sent to us. We cannot see them, because they never leave your phone.
It never connects to your bank and never asks for account numbers or balances.
If your phone backs itself up to iCloud, the app's data is included the same way any other app's is. That backup is between you and Apple, and we have no access to it.

Apple gives us aggregate statistics about the app, such as how many people downloaded it and whether it crashed. Nothing in that identifies anyone.

Nothing crosses between them

Anything you share inside one Mindful Money tool stays inside it. The Reset does not read Countd. Countd does not read the Reset. Neither of them feeds the website or anything else.

If a way to carry your own context from one place to another is ever built, it will be something you choose, can see, and can switch off. It will never happen quietly in the background.

6. Advertising and cookies

There is no advertising tracking on this site today, and no pixel from Meta, Google or anyone else. Any cookies the site does set are the technical ones needed to serve pages, not to follow you.

If that changes, and advertising is something being considered, this page will be updated before it happens and you will be asked to consent before any tracking loads. You will be able to say no and keep using the site normally.

7. How long things are kept

Website logs: short-term, on Hostinger's own schedule.
Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer you and keep a record.
The email list: until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights under GDPR

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or object to how it is used. You can also ask for it in a portable form.

Write to support@mindfulmoney.life and we will answer within 30 days.

If you are not happy with how that was handled, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no), or to the supervisory authority where you live.

What we rely on to use your data: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website; your consent, for emails you asked for; and our contract with you, for anything you have bought.

9. Children

Nothing here is aimed at children, and the Mindful Money Reset is for adults only, 18 or over.

10. Changes to this page

If how your data is handled changes in a way that matters, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
